New York Epicurean Events is a Catskill Mountains-based producer of premier farm-to-table food and wine festivals and educational programs that pair the agricultural bounty—including pasture-raised meats, organic produce, artisanal cheeses, farmstead dairy, smoked fish, and craft beverage—from the region’s lush mountain valleys and fresh water streams—with New York City’s most innovative chefs and culinary artisans. Our goals include creating jobs, driving economic development by assisting family farmers and local artisans, and fostering culinary and agricultural tourism throughout New York State while exposing everyone from chefs and other culinary professionals to foodies and gourmets to delicious, fresh sustainable, and healthful foods.

David Noeth, PresidentChef Noeth has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years in a wide variety of functions and has cooked at the Waldorf Astoria and Plaza Hotel, and was also part of the “Dream Team” at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City and has worked in numerous five-star, four-star, and three-star restaurants in Manhattan. He is also a skilled charcutier and forager with roots in the Catskills and is pleased to bring his well-rounded hospitality background to NY Epicurean Events.
Joe DiStefano, Vice PresidentFood writer and television personality Joe DiStefano has been eating his way way through Queens for more than 20 years. He is recognized by everyone from such culinary luminaries as Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern to media figures like Rosanna Scotto as a go-to source on the borough's rich tapestry of cuisines and cultures. His work has also appeared in The New York Times and Gourmet. He is excited to leverage his social media presence to help NYEE spearhead the farm to festival movement.
B.A. Van Sise, PhotographerOne of the world's busiest travel photographers, Van Sise's work has previously appeared in the New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Time Out New York, the New York Daily News, and the Orlando Sun-Sentinel. Commercial clients include the U.N., Ford, Spike TV, and Budweiser. He is a graduate of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop and a National Press Photographer's Association award-winner. He holds one degree from Fordham University for Visual Arts and another for Modern Languages.
