The Great Northeast Cheese & Dairy Fest returns to Queens for the second year in a row as top toques and top tommes transform historic Flushing Town Hall into a cheese lover’s paradise!

 

A half dozen top New York City chefs including Michelin-starred Chef Hugue Dufour of M. Wells Steakhouse, Chef Alfonso Zhicay of the acclaimed Queens restaurant Casa del Chef Bistro, Chef Humberto Guallpa of Calle Dao, and
Chef Brian Hayford of Favela Cubana.

 

“I’m especially excited to have Chef Dufour prepare his pommes aligot, a decadent, gooey combination of mashed potatoes and Cheddar cheese curds,” said NYEE President Chef David Noeth.

 

Fine libations, including beer, wine, and cider will be paired with all the glorious cheeses and dairy offerings.

 

“The Great Northeast Cheese & Dairy Festival is an exciting opportunity for attendees to connect with the producers, farmers and cheesemakers behind the delicious products they love; to learn and explore new regional cheese and dairy traditions, and reconnect with old favorites,” states Nicole E.
